Edgar Chavez: a senior researcher in Computer Science at CICESE, a top research centre of the National Council for Science and Technology of Mexico (CONACYT) in the city of Ensenada, Baja California.
Vladimir Pestov: a professor emeritus from Ottawa, now based in Brazil; he maintains a large active group of mathematical data scientists in the Rio area and will engage in networking, in the form of exchanges between our groups of students.
Gaël Varoquaux: a research director at INRIA, France in Lorraine, and member of the Center for Data Science (CDS) at PARIS-SACLAY will host interns at either of these laboratories in projects that use statistical-learning tools for scientific computation.
Francesco Vaccarino: co-directs a complex systems computing laboratory at the Politecnico di Torino and is affiliated with the Institute for Scientific Interchange (ISI Foundation) an independent research institute in complexity science, theoretical and mathematical physics.
